Uptown Transportation Study Hosts “Walk Around Tour” in Corryville

The Uptown Transportation Study is continuing to look at ways to make improvements to the transportation system in and around the area of Cincinnati known as Uptown. Uptown includes a number of communities that have a stake in the future of the transportation system.

One such community is Corryville. Located adjacent to the University of Cincinnati and the hospitals and encompassing the Short Vine Business District; Corryville is an integral part of Uptown. To ensure that the transportation needs of the Corryville community are addressed, members of the Corryville Community Council along with the study partners conducted a walk around tour on August 9th. The walk around provided an opportunity to take a first hand look at some of the issues facing the Short Vine Business District and surrounding areas. It also provided the Corryville community the chance to share their vision for the future of their community. The community’s input will be key in developing options and making decisions for the future transportation system in Corryville and the surrounding communities.

If you are interested in scheduling a walk around tour in your area of Uptown, please call OKI at (513) 621-6300 ext. 136.
